 Adding Coaxial Illumination
Requirement:
Qioptiq Imaging was asked to integrate coaxial
illumination to a customer's existing Optem® Zoom Lens System that was
originally configured without a coaxial illumination bottom module.
Our Custom Solution:
A module(1) was easily attached to the bottom of our standard systems example(3)
with a single clamp screw. Additional clearance was provided if an
auxiliary lens was installed on the system. The illumination entered
horizontally through the side port.(2)
This solution also provided greater lighted field-of-oview than an
Optem Lens configuration equipped with standard coaxial illumination
provisions.
