Association. The OPIA is committed to continuing its leadership role in
representing companies that manufacture or distribute microscopes,
electronic imaging, video devices, confocal and laser scanning systems,
software, and/or other products, components, peripherals and services
for microscopy and the microscopic imaging markets. The association
takes an active role in industry education, and provides our field with
a legal forum from which we can accomplish goals as a group which
